"I’d like to acknowledge the store staff at the Barton Creek Store in Austin, Texas. It was closing time and I was desperately in need of a new briefcase for an early flight to Boston the following morning. The store staff not only stayed open late for me but patiently listened to my criteria, and showed me at least five potential bags that that fit my needs. They gave me the time and space to choose from a functional standpoint as well as from a style perspective. This is an example of not only excellent customer service, but going above and beyond, something I rarely experience these days."

"I wanted to let you know about the outstanding customer service I received in your Orlando store. I was there for business and my computer bag broke on my way there. I called your Orlando store to see if it had an on-site repair shop. The employee I spoke to told me I'd need to mail it to one of your repair facilities out of state for repairs, which wasn't an option for me. The employee then offered to order a replacement for my broken computer bag and, once received, she would personally deliver it to my hotel (I was wowed by the customer service I was being offered). As I was not happy with the brand of my current broken bag, I told the employee I would stop by to shop for a new bag.

"My 10 year old Hartmann 22" carry-on bag gave out this week while on a short trip I make frequently from Chicago to Washington, DC. The pull handle would no longer go back into position, making it difficult or impossible to take it back with me on the plane, at least without checking it.
"I found the Bag'n Baggage store in Arlington, VA, was waited on by the manager and was prepared to buy a new carry-on bag, even while sending the old one back to their repair shop. I had to get home with my belongings and papers, after all, and still had some traveling to do. But after looking at some choices of new luggage, the manager opened my broken bag, unzipped the bottom cover, figured out that there was one loose bolt that was preventing the handle from going back into position, got an allen wrench, tightened the bolt and the carry on was fixed!

"This evening, I called your Tabor Center store around 7:30 p.m. only to ask what time the store closed. I spoke with the store manager who politely told me that the store closed at 7:00 p.m., but that the Cherry Creek store was open until 9:00 p.m. He also went on to ask what I was looking for. When I told him I needed a Tumi portfolio, he told me he had several in stock and invited me to come by his store after hours. I did so and when I arrived, Matt had each available Tumi portfolio laid out for me to inspect. I purchased exactly the one I was looking for and he cheerfully rang me up. I realized as he was ringing up the sale that he had already settled his receipts for the day and would have to stay even later in order to re-do everything.

"This is a little overdue, but I really do want to thank and acknowledge a wonderful service. In December 2008, I bought a leather money clip wallet from your Austin Texas location and proceeded to request the employee who was helping me to emboss 3 initials for a close family friend who was turning 18. Although your employee had me confirm and sign the paper, for some reason, my eyes were playing tricks on me. Instead of his last name which is H, I confirmed it to be L (because our last name begins with 'L' and I was so used to it). So, when I picked it up, I realized it was wrong. It was a pretty expensive wallet and I was beside myself as the birthday party was about an hour away. Understandably, I was very upset with my mistake and asked your employee if he could help me. He was extremely understanding and kind and suggested that I pay for another wallet and he will emboss it right then and there. He said he would then check with the head office to see if anything could be done for me. I thought that was that. Imagine my surprise and joy when he called a couple of days later and confirmed that the head office had approved the refund for the wallet I had mistakehly embossed incorrectly. I was very touched and impressed with how kind and professional all parties involved were and what a fair and good company I was dealing with. Of course, we have been customers over the past few years. You will continue having me as a very loyal customer."
